加文·爱 graduated in law from Trinity Hall, Cambridge. Following a postgraduate degree, he was a lecturer in law at the University of Nottingham, specialising in revenue law, property law and the law of the (then) European Communities. Since then, he has worked as a staff writer, editor and manager in law publishing firms CCH Editions (US firm), Wolters Kluwer and Thomson Reuters (Sweet & Maxwell). His teaching at the University of Buckingham has included EU Law, Land 法 and Trusts. He currently also writes for and consults on Sweet & Maxwell loose-leaf and digital products on EU law.
